    Executed contract to design and build-out PHP/MySQL-based file sharing web app. Object-oriented, user-defined taxonomy, file storage and content extraction as well as tools for retrieval and simple sharing. Zend integration for select processes. Web-app communicates with embedded Linux system for future integration of web services related to the user-generated content. End result is value-added service for big ticket retail products sold through nationwide outlets.

    Built and led team to create world's first circular keyboard/piano for the Lady Gaga "Born This Way" tour. Intense 4 month effort to design, build and ship a tour-ready unit that pushes the bounds of keyboard design and performance. Delivered on time and within budget. Branded and built PianoArc Website (Wordpress).

    Full stack PHP/MySql/HTML/CSS architect and developer for innovative eLearning program underwritten by one of the nation’s oldest music retailers for use in Salt Lake City public schools. Completed contract to deliver customized learning management system and workflow manager. Facilitated and executed interactive content development in conjunction with University of Utah experts, leveraging Adobe Captivate and Photoshop skills. Managed outsourcing of key content assets to stay on budget and on schedule. Extensive CSS, and Captivate/Flash integration.

    Co-FounderMindware Music Inc. d.b.a. ePiano Company

    Designed the systems and software powering the ePiano™ – a software-based digital piano combined with a PC. Designed the MusiConsole® and Soundsetter® Windows applications and licensed a custom software bundle to deploy in custom PC builds for music-making and music-education markets. Designed, sold and supported multiple music lab deployments in regional schools. Consulted with piano manufacturers for technology demonstration assistance, presentations and training. Built Phase 1 of NextMusik Learning Management System (LMS) in PHP/MySQL starting 2010 as trends pointed to post-PC era.

    Built educational sales division from scratch for tech startup founded by music industry legends Bob Moog and David Van Koevering. Developed educational sales and technology strategy, including web initiatives, and worked closely with software development team to evolve educator-related features that were successfully sold and incorporated into schools across the country. Managed educator show presence, while presenting at numerous conferences on technology-enhanced music education. Success in the education channel led to senior management role. As part of management team explored business models and acquisitions related to music education technology and on-line education.

    Managed training, marketing, evaluating, purchasing, and pricing for all digital musical products for prominent Boston area Steinway dealer. Evaluated market feasibility of new product offerings at trade shows. Led sale, design and installation of music labs for regional schools. Created “encore pricing model” where customers selected a price based on exclusion of value-added extras. Results boosted mature business’s retail margins by 12%, AND sales volume by 15%.

    Whirlwind post-collegiate corporate experience encompassing a number of roles progressing from Underwriter Trainee, Western US Account Representative to Marketing Associate Manager for internal startup “Moneytrac” division out of Travelers World Headquarters. Specific accomplishments include branding and creation of “Touchquote” Traveler’s first interactive insurance sales kiosk. A formative and positive big corporate experience.
